If you want to nourish or rediscover your love for reading—this is the class for you! Students will read a variety of short texts over the summer and learn to analyze them collaboratively.

Students will…

• Learn how to get more out of their reading
• Practice engaging in meaningful group discussions
• Explore different genres and mediums
• Practice annotating and note taking
• Synthesize ideas in brief written responses

Students will complete a final creative project of their choosing. The final day of class will be a reading party for students to celebrate their work this summer!
