Welcome to the University Tutoring Blog

Hello and welcome to the University Tutoring Blog!

If you’ve visited our website in the past, you may have noticed some recent changes. Over this past summer we began the process of revamping our website and we are now thrilled to bring you the new and improved version of UniversityTutoring.com. We think this new site is a whole lot easier to use while also including some exciting new features.

In the past, our website has been relatively static—always presenting the same information day in and day out and providing no real reason for anyone to visit again. We’re hoping to change that with some of the new additions to our site with one of the biggest being our new blog.

As Seattle’s oldest locally owned tutoring agency we have been helping students succeed since 1979. Throughout our entire existence, it has always been our mission to serve the students and families in our community in whatever ways we can. Our blog will be an extension of this philosophy and a new avenue for us to share our knowledge and expertise directly with you.

You can expect to hear plenty from me on the blog, but also from the rest of our team of experienced tutors. We also plan to have the occasional guest writer, so stay tuned for that.

As we add more blog posts you can expect to see everything from study skills tips to information about the new SAT. We’re starting out small, but over time we hope to turn this blog into a real repository of knowledge and go-to resource for our students and their families.

We strongly encourage reader feedback and hope to hear from all of you as we get writing. If you have a specific topic you would like us to cover or a question you’d like answered, direct your emails to our Director of Marketing Alec Downing (alec@universitytutoring.com). He will be sure to respond to reader comments and make note of any subjects our readers would like to hear more about.

I appreciate your readership and be sure to check back soon for more posts from me and the rest of the University Tutoring team!
